REBOL Programmer Needed - Will Pay Real Money!!

 [1/8] from: amicom:sonic at: 15-May-2008 17:27

REBOL Programmer Needed. Current need is to add ESMTP into existing encapped application. Will provide remote access to our development server and pointers to the application code. Must have good communication skills and good REBOL programming skills. Please apply by phone at 707-621-4415 (available 24 hours a day). I would do it myself, but I need more hours in the day. Looking forward to hearing from you! Bohdan "Bo" Lechnowsky Former Rebol Tech Support and QA

Why not just use the esmtp protocol that comes with Rebol? On Fri, May 16, 2008 at 12:27 PM, <amicom-sonic.net> wrote:

As I hadn't heard any responses other than Graham's, I was forced to make the changes myself. I did use REBOL's ESMTP, but it was for a legacy REBOL app that was written in 2002 using rebolve (View/Encap based on View 1.2, I believe). It had to be converted to the SDK 2.76 and that broke some other features of the app, as I had expected. Those features are still broken if anyone is interested in a paying REBOL job. I thought more people might be interested in a side job that involved REBOL. Good news is ESMTP works. Bad news is the app doesn't work very well now. For instance, the 'wait function doesn't seem to wait at all and using the 'choice widget in VID causes the pointer to not work anywhere else in the GUI other than where the 'choice widget's bounds had been. And those are only two of the perplexing bugs I found. Any takers? -Bo
