 [1/6] from: gerardcote::sympatico::ca at: 4-Apr-2003 0:52

Hi Robert, While I was looking for articles related to components I found the following one about Active BO. Just thought it may be helpful to you for comparison purpose with your RFM and for other ppl. too as a basic intro to BOs, when compared with other current and past programming models, from flat to ABO through modular, OO, middleware and Agent based. Regards -- Gerard

Nice paper, Gerard...thanks...my resume purports the concept of POS-design (not meaning a terminal for point-of-sale but a paradigm of designing at the point of sale to the customer--or even empowering the customer to do the customization) similar to what ABO focus appeared to be. The name, Active BO sounds like it needs a good deodorant, however....;-) Steve Shireman www.efishantsea.com eFishAntSea is located south of the Bermuda Triangle, a well-known landmark which is part of a larger phenomenon, the Bermuda Shorts a quote from the book "Navigating Through the Fallus Seas" Gerard Cote wrote:

Hi Gerad, thanks a lot! :-)) Unfortunately, development is decreased at the moment. Hope to get back to development with Cyphre ASAP. To me development with others on one project makes more fun than doing it alone. Robert
