The End of Era ...

 [1/7] from: petr::krenzelok::trz::cz at: 22-Mar-2007 13:26

Hello guys, tomorrow is the last day I am oficially available at my work. After 12 years, I decided to switch jobs. I accepted the position of chief of IT of relatively smaller company, which still can be nearly regarded being an enterprise level. I just don't know, how much time I will have for REBOL, but hopefully I will soon resubscribe from some personal account here. I also hope, that R3 brings new oportunity. It will be tough call for me to be tempted to base some internet communication on REBOL in the company I am going to work for. REBOL, in its current state is a bit risky factor imo - more psychological view of RT as a company, and general safety reluctance because on REBOL not being open sourced. Hopefully R3 will change some things and hopefully it will come soon too :-) So, good luck to all of you, and hopefull see you soon! Cheers, Petr

Good luck, Petr. I remember back in 2002, when the company I worked for went bankrupt, I too thought I'd stay away from rebol... HY Dixit Petr Krenzelok (13.26 22.03.2007):

Awww - don't go, Petr! (Sadly, I couldn't agree with you more about your 'psychological view of RT as a company', and it's infuriating! With most any other language around it wouldn't matter, but with REBOL...) Anyway, best wishes with your new job. Hope you find it fun and rewarding. -- Carl Read.
