I would suggest that the one-who-implements the ZIP stuff just write it standalone (clean and lean) and that RT will include it than into their source-tree.

I didn't dig to deep yet but here are some more links of interest: This is the homepage of Mark Nelson, I have a old piece of code for a ZIPer, which is 8054 bytes long. Quite cool, might be a good starting point. Robert
