Hi,
I would suggest you to learn Core before jumping in View, a lot of View will
be more understanable once you have learn Core... Going through the Core
manual at Rebol, then the scripts. If you want to go deeper, the Rebol/Zine
articles are interesting and Ladislav's rebsite articles are a must
(available from View's website) IMHO if you want to understand the inner
workings of rebol. eRebol and Rugby are really interesting tools for a Rebol
developer.
Also, consider refering to the Mailing List archives at eScribe.com (search
for rebol). Don't be afraid to ask questions. Try to buy Rebol The Official
Guide. As a book, it'll teach you rebol while building a distributed
database management system ;) It's not perfect, it has strong chapters
covering almost everything. However, I have personnally found some passages,
paragraphs to be distractive from the purposes of the chapters. But this may
be because my main tongue is french... But otherwise it's a great book and
useful book.
Best,
Chris
