[REBOL] Re: One-Liners back in town!/Errr...
From: tim::johnsons-web::com at: 19-Nov-2002 18:43
Hey Guys: I hate to be the Grinch that stole XMas,
but I don't consider this to be an attractive idea.
(Linux (self-styled) gurus may just laugh at you and make comments
like "I can do this from my bash shell")
.. and I once fired a apprentice programmer for
put too much "C" code into a 'for' loop...
Here's an alternative:
Find something in "public domain" that is somewhat widely
known. Challenge yourself as a team to "clone it in rebol"
and make it
"better"
"more readable"
"easier to maintain".
Here's an example:
formail.pl.
It's widely used.
Widely exploited.
Hard to read.
Beat it with a stick... :-)
