Exactly. I used to write monthly articles for an online mag, and the
problem I had was actually thinking of something to talk about. In
a slow month I'd be trying to come up with something interesting even
on the day before the deadline.
Maybe there should be a "theme", or a number of themes, to each issue,
and the next issue's themes are advertised at the end of the current
issue. Say something like:
Next Issue: CGI techniques
- POST or GET? What are they and how do I process them?
- Baking and eating cookies: pitfalls and possibilities
- Useful tricks for debugging CGI scripts
That way people can worry about the solutions, rather than thinking up
the problems as well ;) Just my 2p...
