[REBOL] Re: RSL: Rebol Standard Library

From: ryan:christiansen:intellisol at: 23-May-2001 16:17

Will the library consist of entire scripts? or simply functions? I'd like to see a library of stand-alone functions which can be used as the building blocks for larger projects. My main concern is that we have a situation of talking only. My initial approach would be: - Honor al of your points below. - Take existing, proven, widely used Rebol code, put that into a standard form, archive it as a .rip and publish that. Enhance it based on feature requests. Perhaps we should divide some topic areas, like networking, software engineering, View, ... What do you think? --Maarten
