Needless to say. However, it's pretty easy to arrange to save enough backups
(daily, say, for the whole system) and as often as you want for contributions
you are actively involved in, so it's pretty easy to repair if there is a `rogue'.
Net, nobody bothers to screw things up as there's really no point in doing so, though
once in a while an `errant' edit will cause some otherwise good-willed person to
screw up.
All-in-all the hassle of worrying about `protection' proves to be more trouble than
just fixing things up when things go awry...
