To place the box on the main layout, it would need to be created first =^.^

Not exactly, assign PANE1 to BOX1/pane (or whatever you wanted to call it)

PANE1: layout [backdrop orange text blue bold {Hi}] view layout [ backdrop black BOX1: box green 100x100 with [pane: PANE1] ] The colors are so it's easier to see where each part is displayed. And PANE1's offset is the offset inside the box - so 0x0 is the upper corner of BOX1, not of the main face.
