Well I'm problay not the best person to answer but will try.First make user
your user.r file has your correct email settings.I use Mandriva 2006 and
can send mail when user.r is set up correctly.As for the browser problem, I
have not set that up on Linux but if I not wrong you should do that from
the console with browser/"the path" ?Others will chime in with more help
