[REBOL] Re: I wrote a little Rebol tutorial for absolutebeginners...

Hi everyone :)
I added some more to my little Rebol tutorial (not so little any more - about
130 pages). It's got more examples, a section on objects, some short case
studies, and other various additions:

http://musiclessonz.com/rebol_tutorial.txt
http://musiclessonz.com/rebol_tutorial.pdf
(also in the articles section of rebol.org)
I've got a particular interest in helping to promote Rebol. I'm curious if
anyone has any ideas... So far, the tutorial has been downloaded several
thousand times each month from links outside the Rebol world, and that rate of
activity has been improving :) The .exe version currently has a "popular"
rating at download.com, it's hosted at several tutorial sites, and at
sourceforge. I've had people write saying that they have plans to use
elements
of the tutorial in schools, and it's being translated to several
languages. If
anyone can suggest any other channels of promotion, please let me know!
I see a large market for Rebol in the "end-user developer" community
(55 million
developers, compared to 2.7 million professional coders). I'm wondering if I
shouldn't meddle in this sort of thing - I know Carl has a different focus for
3.0. I don't want Rebol to be perceived as a beginner's tool - I just hope
people see how useful it is, join in the community, and help grow our code
base...
Any suggestions/corrections/feedback about the tutorial are
appreciated. Thanks!
