Yes I know view/pro relies on X11 and I am not Command ... I'm saving my pennies, almost there. great, thanks for the tip, I tried it once and the sort was not stable I was definatly using /compare do not recall what I was returning most likely obja/fld <= objb/fld which returns a logic!
