Have you tried betas? for me it was utterly broken first, then it worked with
xterm, not kde, then it worked with both on suse 8.0, currently KDE is a bit
broken on knoppix 3.4 again. Since KDE-clipboard was broken anyway, i guess
thats KDe's fault. With emacs and /view i copypaste all the time with betas.
