[REBOL] inconsistentcies between simple Rebol documentation and View/Pro 1.2.1.3

So I'm finally getting some free time to play around with my new
Rebol View/Pro and I'm seeing some inconsistencies in the documentation,
For example I'm sitting here doing the Command prompt changing example
from the core docs and
system/console/prompt: [reform [now/time " >> "]] results in a prompt of
>> whereas
system/console/prompt: [reform [now/time]]
results in the
actual time.
Although I don't much care about the ability to shift the prompt around
I
do care that the inconsistency seems to be at the syntactical level
as in how things are evaluated. Is there some other documentation I
should
be reading that explains this situation?
