but :
i have try to use on "user.r" : [dither],
[exclusive-colors][monochrome][dither exclusive-colors],
and this to :
if (not none? system/view) [
system/view/screen-face/options:

but nothing more.
i have to precise that the install of view have this window to

the "user.r" is use after installation, so view have a problem with my
mandrake 8.2.
so it is possible that there is a problem with something like Carl

so Carl if you can describe what you did to install mandrake 9.0
probably i can run view on mandrake 8.2! (i have not 9.0)
i am not a guru, but is it possible that my 8.2 have not be install
correctly ??
