[REBOL] Re: Enabling the REBOL community

Hi, again, Petr, (I forgot the other point I wanted to make about MODULE...) Petr Krenzelok wrote:

If my theory is correct (that RT has been forced to put other work ahead of MODULE in the priority list), then perhaps there's another benefit to our working on unit management as a community. If we collectively define (and put to use!) an open-source-like unit management scheme, perhaps RT would use ideas from that scheme to influence their thinking on MODULE when it bubbles back up to the top of the priority list. I.e., if our scheme is good enough, maybe they'd be willing to work toward having MODULE fit within that scheme with minimum rework. (Not that I'm suggesting that any of us are bright visionaries on the same level as Carl, but maybe our collective candles can shed some light on this issue...) -jn-
