Same goes for rebol. As i said, that part of the source is open. Some people here patch it all the time.

To have some way to force people to pay, or to prevent forks, or something i overlook.

To fix each and every bug? Outside of "mission critical" it would be the first company which does that. The others look for their manpower and set priorities. If customers are not happy with their choicest, they may loose them of course.
