[REBOL] Face Transparency?

I recently tried to run a script written for View 1.2.1 in View 1.2.5, but the face transparency no longer works. It used to be that one would only have to set image: none and color: none plus an effect to make a gel transparency effect. Has anyone figured out how to make the transparency work in the beta?
