I agree with what you are saying in your post and Iam not saying open source REBOL would
solve these problems because as the main thrust of my post was that these problems highlighted
have nothing to do with source code availability they are practical & logistical distribution
& upgrade problems.
My post was made to assert these points in reference to your initial mistaken (mistaken
in my view) that open source REBOL would lead to a total mess in these areas. It wouldn't
help nor hinder becuase these same problems would appear no matter what the development
model is, open or proprietary.
Your initial point that open source would directly lead to this "mess" was at best misleading
and at worst complete FUD. (Fear, Uncertainty & Doubt)
But Iam sure we've all beat this subject to death over the last few days.
