The daytime protocol is different from NTP. You need to find a server
offering the daytime service common on UNIX boxes. If you want to set up a
Windows machine as a time server, I would recommend About Time. It is
freeware and very simple to set up, just leave it running with the time
servers turned on. You can get it at http://www.arachnoid.com/abouttime/
On a Unix box, just enable daytime in /etc/inetd.conf.
