just shows how to use the basic face and effects to perform, relatively fast transforms, instead of using the Draw commands, which can provide more quality and options, but at a cost in speed.


you can change the rate of animation by changing the number of steps in the animation.

I also added a scrollbar to show how to tie up the effect to an interactive control.

This script was originally built to help a REBOLer who needed to provide scrolling maps of his city within a firefighter application which was use to locate incidents based on coordinates and point and click on different res maps.  (a bit like google maps I guess).
